OUGD103-Communication is a virus

The Brief:
To produce a graphics response that engages with a specific audience. The response should consider the context and environment in which you aim for it to be delivered. This will be identified as part of the initial concept proposal.

Considerations:
Analyse and, identify and use existing means of distributions in order to select an appropriate method of communication.

Target audience:
Young children and parents.

Tone of voice:
Easy, simple, for children.
The tone of voice should be appropriate to your content, the audience to which your work will be delivered and the content in which it will be viewed or delivered.

Background:
What do you want to say? How do you intend to say it? What language would be appropriate?
'Get people to read more', invite people to an event for 'world book day' encouraging children to read more after school hours and parents to read to children.

Will the content be communicated primarily through type or image? If it is both what will be the relationship between the two?
We will use mainly image and simple, easy type as its based on children.

Mandatory requirements:
A limited colour pallet, two colours plus stock, will allow for reproduction of your designs across a range of media. We will research into existing children's books/illustrations to see what kind of colours are usually used.

The response should remain within legal boundaries. NB- Any activities that may cause damage, personal offence or involve acts of an illegal nature are not encouraged or supported by the deliver of this brief. You must seek appropriate permission for all activities associated with this brief.

The problems should be resolved by the deadline below. However, if we have plans to extend the scope and ambition of the response beyond this deadline we will include these proposals in our presentation.
